Entrepreneurial

Wikipedia says that ‘an entrepreneur is a person who has possession of a new enterprise, venture or idea and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome’.

That is my experience. It is exciting, pioneering, hard, consuming and often quite isolating, but you are driven by your passion that gives you hope and energy. Despite all that, most entrepreneurial ventures fail. They fail for lack of business ability; they fail for lack of the necessary skill sets.

Having actual ‘done it’ many times I get excited when talking to someone who has a new venture, and now, leading teams of talented specialists, I bring in skills that the entrepreneur needs, at the right time, for the right cost.

My belief is that entrepreneurs need focused, tailored teams to help them realise their dreams and they should all be managed to a structural plan for success.

I am for entrepreneurs getting the value of their IP and not giving it away to incoming specialists.

Why? Well it is the entrepreneurs business!
